Brandon Sutter Talks Clutch Goals, Settling In With Penguins

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Penguins center Brandon Sutter joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday, just hours after notching the game-tying and game-winning goals in the Pens' big 3-2 win over the Bruins.

Sutter had the chance to pass the puck to Sidney Crosby right before he notched the game-winner, and joked that he got a little heat for taking matters into his own hands.

"Obviously, I got a few jabs after the game for looking him off," Sutter said. "But, I just made a read and it worked out."

He was very upbeat when talking about his experiences in Pittsburgh thus far, and said that having some more chances to score big goals this year has been fun.

"There have been a lot more opportunities for me here in terms of offense," Sutter said. "To score a few big goals here and there, it feels good."

Sutter and the Penguins' next game is a road contest against the Maple Leafs on Thursday night.
