Jay Caufield: Pens Are 'The Best Team Playing The Game'
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- ROOT Sports Penguins analyst Jay Caufield joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to look back at the Penguins' 2-1 win over the Capitals Tuesday night for their 10th straight victory.
Caufield proclaimed that the Pens are "the best team playing the game," explaining that absolutely everything seems to be working out for them right now.
He added that he thinks goaltending will be the key to the Pens' maintaining momentum as the playoffs draw nearer.
Caufield also lauded mid-season addition Mark Eaton for playing at the level that the veteran defenseman did during his first stint with the Penguins.
