Ed Bouchette: Harrison Likely To Stay Gone, Bradshaw Might Be Coming

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - 93-7 The Fan Steelers insider and Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to offer the latest news and analysis on the team's offseason wheeling and dealing.

Even though James Harrison is still a free agent, he doesn't expect the Steelers to reverse their position and try to sign Harrison.

"Once you make that decision, boom, okay, let's move on," Bouchette said. "Once they cut the cord with James, they started thinking about what they have to do next, and I think they've convinced themselves they're going to be okay. They could change their minds, but they told him, that ship has sailed."

He does, however, think that the Steelers have quite a bit of interest in running back Ahmad Bradshaw.

"I think it's serious," Bouchette said. "I think they need a number one [running back], and this guy certainly could be it. He's a pretty good find as long as they can afford him."

He thinks there's a pretty good chance that Emmanuel Sanders still ends up with the Patriots.

"They don't have to sign him until April 19, and why not wait?" Bouchette said. "Maybe they have a side deal going on, a gentleman's agreement here that he'll sign then."
