Former Mayor Masloff Endorses Jack Wagner

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- With just weeks until the mayoral primary, Democratic hopeful Jack Wagner received another endorsement from a well-known Pittsburgh political figure.

On Wednesday, former Mayor Sophie Masloff threw her support behind the former Auditor General and City Council President.

Masloff said in a statement released today: "I am endorsing Jack Wagner for Mayor and I am going to campaign for him as often as I can. Jack was a Councilman and then President of City Council when I was Mayor. I know him very well. Jack understands government; he understands cooperation. We did not always agree, but we always worked together for what was best for the City."

On the Wednesday Edition of the KDKA Afternoon News, Masloff talked with KDKA's Bill Rehkopf:
