Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Traffic Problems On Parkway West

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A multi-vehicle crash sent emergency crews to the Parkway West this afternoon.

According to PennDOT, the crash happened on the outbound side of the Parkway West just past the Carnegie interchange.

The crash blocked two of three lanes.

Crews reportedly had to pull people from a van that partially rolled over.

There's no word on the extent of the injuries.

The crash has now been cleared. The Parkway West was closed for a short period of time while they removed the vehicles, but it is no reopen.

PennDOT is advising people traveling in that area to use caution and expect residual delays.
