PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Rob Pratte is an opera connoisseur, and he was joined by Yvonne Hudson and Mildred Miller Posvar Sunday morning.

Pratte, Hudson, and Posvar discussed how Posvar founded the Opera Theater Pittsburgh. Hudson and Posvar have been performers and teachers at the Opera Theater Pittsburgh for decades and Rob was thankful for how Mildred has had a hand in culturing Pittsburgh.

Rob reminisced with Hudson and Posvar about his favorite Opera performers “3 Tenors,”  “Beverly Sills” and “Mario Lanza.”

Posvar shared stories of founding Opera Theater Pittsburgh, and stories of the stage. Hudson explained how she draws talent out of young pupils and teaches the “tools” to being a successful at Opera.
