Steelers Hope They've Found A WR Replacement

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- The Steelers selected speedy Oregon State receiver Markus Wheaton in the third round of the NFL draft Friday night.

Wheaton, who said he has run a 4.3 40, is the Beavers all-time leader with 227 catches. In 2012, he caught 91 passes for 1,244 yards.

When asked about the comparison to former Steelers receiver Mike Wallace, Wheaton said, "I'm just excited to know where I'm going. I'm ready to play football."

Wheaton said he envisions himself playing outside, but is comfortable playing in the slot.
