Forest County Stabbing Leaves 2 Dead
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were fatally stabbed in Forest County early Saturday morning.
Around 1:50 a.m., police say they were called to the scene of what is believed to be a double homicide at 229 Holli Acre Road in Green Township.
Police say they found the body of 43-year-old Donald Shay of Leechburg outside of a mobile home and the body of a 42-year-old Marcelle Edwards inside the home. Both had been stabbed multiple times.
Police say that Edwards and Shay had been involved in an ongoing dispute with Edwards' ex-boyfriend Scott Black. It is unclear what the dispute was about.
Black is now considered a suspect and police say they were unable to locate him for several hours following the incident. However, police eventually located him and took him into custody.
Autopsies are scheduled Sunday for both victims.
