Seton Hill Holds Dinner In Honor Of Slain Lacrosse Coach

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The athletics department at Seton Hill University held a spaghetti dinner Sunday to honor the lacrosse coach killed in a bus crash last month.

Kristina Quigley and her unborn child were killed March 16 after a bus, carrying the Seton Hill Girls Lacrosse team, lost control and slammed into a tree.

The driver of the bus was also killed.

Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Gavin Quigley Scholarship Fund.

"We plotted this date out some time ago, that way everyone at Seton Hill could get in and find a way to contribute," said Chris Snyder with the athletics department. "We put together this spaghetti dinner for all of our campus to be involved with to help raise money for Gavin and the Quigley family."

The university is also selling T-shirts to benefit the scholarship fund.
