PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Former Pittsburgh Penguins player Jay Caufield is joining KDKA-TV as the Pens make their run for the Stanley Cup.

Caufield will be featured on KDKA-TV news along side Sports Director Bob Pompeani, and the rest of the sports coverage team to give you one-of-a kind analysis.

Caufield is close to the Penguins franchise, and has the knowledge you won’t find anywhere else.

With the Penguins, Caufield played most of five seasons, including the 1991–92 Stanley Cup.

He also averaged nearly four penalty minutes a game, and scored three goals in 194 game.

You might remember Caufield also made a brief appearance as the Penguin’s goalie in the hockey-themed movie “Sudden Death.”

Caufield also works as an analyst on Pittsburgh’s Root Sports.
