Beaver Co. Man Facing Child Pornography Charges After Raid

FREEDOM (KDKA) - Police raided the home of a Beaver County man and they said they found dozens of files containing images and videos of minors having sex.

Pennsylvania Attorney General investigators said Raul Arias had hardcore child pornography on his computer. Boys and girls as young as 5-years-old engaged in sex acts with each other and adults.

Investigators first approached the 54-year-old after tracking alleged child porn on the Internet to his house.

He is being charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, three counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of illegal use of a communications facility.

The criminal complaint said Arias told investigators he searched "PTHC" understanding it meant pre-teen hard core.

He was allegedly looking for "teens engaging in acts or nude."

Said he had watched child pornography since the 1990s and admitted what he viewed was illegal.

Arias was arrested, but is out on $50,000 straight cash bond.
