1 In Custody, 1 Wanted In Duquesne Fatal Shootings

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One man is in police custody and another is still wanted after two men were fatally shot in Duquesne Monday night.

Police issued two arrest warrants Wednesday in connection with the murders.

According to police, 18-year-old Tyrone Coleman and 29-year-old Lawrence Short were both shot on Crawford Avenue Monday night. They later died from their injuries at area hospitals.

Today, police issued arrest warrants for two men in connection with the shooting.

The first was issued for 26-year-old Michael Robinson. He is described as an African-American male standing 6-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He is from Duquesne, but has ties to West Mifflin and McKeesport.

However, police say Robinson surrendered himself late Wednesday afternoon.

Robinson is facing two counts of homicide and weapons violations. He will be taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

The second warrant was issued for 27-year-old Glenn Smith. Smith is described as being 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He is also from Duquesne, but has ties to West Mifflin and McKeesport.
