Larry Foote, Steelers Motivated To Get Back To Playoffs

PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--Organized Team Activities are in the books, and now it is time for the Pittsburgh Steelers to move forward. Mini camp starts today on the South Side. To talk about it, the Fan Morning Show welcomed linebacker, Larry Foote to the program.

The team missed the playoffs last season, which does not sit well with the players in the locker room. "Guys are motivated," Larry said. "Guys are pissed off, and that's the way it should be."

Some of the Steelers players have been outspoken about some problems that developed in the locker room last season. A lot of those issues can be attributed to having an 8-8 season. Larry does not see the same issues surfacing, saying, "our locker room is tighter than ever."

As to how the team can improve on the field, Larry said that turnovers will be a big key in the coming season. The team will need to create more turnovers, and to give the ball to their opposition less.

"Dropped picks was on top of the board," says Larry about areas the coaching staff highlighted.
