Marcellus Shale Hour 7-9-13

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -  Matt Pitzarella hosted the Marcellus Shale Hour with Robert Mangino, they were joined by Steve Everley of American Solutions and Steve Forde of the Marcellus Shale Coalition.

The Fracking industry has been attacked by the "Gasland" films, Everley wanted to be the voice to defend the industry stating the films are "way out there."

Everley saw the film's style as "one sided," claiming the frame the gas industry as "guilty until proven innocent."

Forde is apart of the Marcellus Shale Coalition which was created so that the public could ask questions directly to the gas industry and get scientific answers. Forde wanted listeners to know that the coalition is "not an industry mouth piece," and that they "answer questions with facts.'
