Swissvale Shooting Injures 1, Arrest Warrant Issued

SWISSVALE (KDKA) – An arrest warrant has been issued in connection with a Tuesday night shooting in Swissvale.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 2100-block of Noble Street around 9:20 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to an area hospital and was last listed in stable condition.

During the course of their investigation, police determined the shooter was Marcel Thompson, 19, of McKeesport.

Thompson is described as being an African-American male, standing about 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has the word "Regina" tattooed on the right side of his neck.

Anyone with information about Thompson's whereabouts is asked to call the Allegheny County Homicide Unit at (412)-473-1300.

Police also said if you see Thompson, call 911.
