1 Death After Homewood Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a fatal shooting in Homewood Thursday afternoon.
According to emergency dispatchers, the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of North Murtland and Mount Vernon Streets.
The man was shot in the mouth and chest and was unresponsive when police and medics arrived at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner was also called to the scene.
The victim has not been identified and no arrests have been made at this time.
