Teen Shot In North Braddock
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A teen is expected to be OK after he was shot in North Braddock.
It happened before 1 p.m. at 829 Jones Avenue.
Authorities say a 17-year-old, nicknamed "Dee," was shot in the stomach, but is expected to be OK.
The mayor called 911 after he received a call from a woman in the neighborhood.
Ironically, the mayor and the woman had talked earlier about ways to minimize violence in the community.
No word on what prompted the shooting.
