Movie Theater Evacuated After Fake Bomb Threat Found On Toilet Paper

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Robinson Township movie theater was evacuated Monday night after someone made a bomb threat.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Cinemark at Settler's Ridge.

The movie theater was evacuated, but police eventually determined the the bomb threat was a hoax.

Both police and the Bomb Squad responded.

"The lights came on right in the middle of the show," movie goer James Lagrosse said. "We were here for the Disney movie and they told us there was a fire."

Police say a 17-year-old who was at the movie theater left the fake bomb threat on some toilet paper.

Police also say he left his real name and phone number on it as well.

No word on whether he will face charges.

Stay with KDKA for more information.
