ETNA (KDKA) – Police led Victor Dinino away in handcuffs early Thursday morning. He was taken to jail, charged with criminal homicide.

According to the criminal complaint, Dinino told police he left his girlfriend to buy heroin, and when he returned he found her hanging.

Police were called to the scene along Higgins Street around 1:30 Wednesday morning by Dinino.

The victim was 31 year old Jessical Miller. Her body was found outside of her apartment in the backyard.

According to the criminal complaint, she was strangled and it was staged to appear like a suicide.

It went on to say the victim was covered in bruises and had grass stains and dirt on her knees and hands.

Witnesses observed the couple having a verbal argument shortly before Miller’s death. They also heard what they thought was a scream around 1 a.m. on Wednesday.

Victor Dinino was arraigned in night court and is in the Allegheny County Jail on criminal homicide charges.
