Pens' Craig Adams: 'There's No Way Around' Conference Finals Loss

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Penguins winger Craig Adams joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday to talk about the off-season, and about some of his charity work.

Adams signed a two-year deal to return to the Pens this off-season.

He said that his desire was always to return to Pittsburgh and that they told him they wanted him to come back, but had other things to work out first. He admits that it came down to the wire but they were able to get it done and he is happy to be here.

The sting of the early playoff exit is still there for him. He says they had a team good enough to win a Stanley Cup and that makes it hurt even more.

He noted that they lost to a good team, but he said that he has spent many sleepless nights thinking how could they have done things different.

Adams will be taking part in the Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday, Sept. 7th at the Pittsburgh Zoo.
