Suspects Sought After Teen Shot At Grandview Park
ALLENTOWN (KDKA) – Police are searching for suspects after a teen was shot in Grandview Park.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the park off of Beltzhoover and Bailey avenues.
Police say a teen was shot and taken to the hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are also looking for a group of teens in connection with the shooting – at least one of whom is possibly as young as 12 years old.
"I didn't realize that there was a big problem until I came up the hill and saw the ambulances, " one witness reported.
Police are still trying to figure out why the teens opened fire, they say there were about 15 people in the park at the time of the shooting.
