Police Release Surveillance Photos Of Suspects Wanted In Target Theft

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man and woman accused of stealing various items from a local Target.

Investigators have now releases surveillance photos in connection with the thefts at the Target in the 6000-block of Penn Avenue back on May 22 just before 3 p.m.

According to police, they pair is accused of hiding the stolen merchandise in a large backpack.

Police say a guard tried to stop the two in the lobby of the store, but they managed to get away.

The man is described as being 20 to 25 years of age, 185 pounds, six-feet tall with a medium build, brown medium-length hair, a goatee, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was wearing glasses.

The woman is described as five-foot-five-inches tall, 130 pounds, had a medium build, long brown curly hair and a medium complexion. She was also wearing glasses.

Police say the couple got away with $160 worth of merchandise.
