Westmoreland Co. Woman Robbed, Pushed Out Of Moving Car

PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A Trafford woman was injured after being robbed and pushed out of a moving car.

The incident happened on Route 130 in Penn Township.

Robert Keeney, 22, picked up the 21-year-old victim at her home.

He was supposed to take her to his home in North Huntingdon to hang out with friends, but two men in his car robbed the woman.

They demanded her pink Coach purse and the $200 that was inside of it.

"According to statements from the victim, she did resist, she did put up a fight to try and keep her purse," said Penn Township Police Chief John Otto. "However, at some point in time, it became too much for her, she was concerned for her safety and she relinquished the purse."

The woman was pushed out of the car near the Level Green Fire Hall.

She suffered minor injuries to her ankles.

Keeney is facing robbery and related charges.

Police have a warrant for his arrest.

They are hoping he can help them to identify the other two men in the car.
