Project Drive-In Voting Extended, 4 More Winners Added
Now more drive-in theaters have a chance to win in the effort to save drive-in movie theaters from closing in the switch from 35mm film to digital movies.
People across the country can vote for their favorite drive-in with the ones earning the top votes getting digital projectors.
Honda was originally sponsoring "Project Drive-In" to help save four winning drive-in theaters.
However, it was announced Sunday that Honda would also be awarding four more projectors to the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place winners.
Voting has been extended until Sept. 21.
