The "Mr. High School Sports" Podcast - Week 4 Edition
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Week Four of the 2013 high school football season gets underway with a handful of games kicking off at 7:00 tonight, and the rest at 7:30.
As you get ready to head to your game, here's a look at the schedule for the latest MaxPreps Southwestern Pennsylvania top ten, as well as a look back at a great performance Thursday night by the top quarterback in the City League:
The 'Mr. High School Sports' Podcast - Week 4, Part 1
In part two of the podcast, "Mr. High School Sports" takes a closer look at his featured game this week, as Class AAAA juggernaut Upper St. Clair (3-0, 3-0) heads to Andrew Yuhas Stadium to battle Penn Hills (3-0, 3-0) with first place in the Southeastern Conference at stake.
We look at the emergence of the Upper St. Clair defense, which stands as the second least scored-upon unit in Quad-A thanks to a couple of star players with Pitt ties. We'll also examine a loaded backfield that has led Penn Hills toward the top of the district rankings in scoring and rushing, and how well it matches up with the Panthers:
