Suspect Sought In Motel 6 Robbery In Banksville

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are asking for help from the public to identify the suspect wanted for robbing a motel in Banksville earlier this week.

The robbery happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Motel 6 in the 2800-block of Banksville Road.

According to police, the man jumped over the counter and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect is described as a white male, five-foot-eight-inches tall, with a medium build.

He was wearing blue jeans and a green hoodie with the words "New York" written across the front and an image of the New York skyline on the back.

Anyone with information on the case is being asked to contact the Pittsburgh Police Robbery Squad at 412-323-7151.
