PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One person had to be rescued Friday after crashing and flipping their car.

It happened before 12:30 p.m. on Race Street in Edgewood.

Police say the driver lost control and hit a tree, causing the car to flip.

Responders were able to flip the car back over and pull the driver out.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.

No word on the driver’s condition.
