PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A train hit a car overnight in the South Hills.

Police are still trying to figure out how the car got onto the tracks in the first place.

Around 12:30 a.m. police received the call of a car on the tracks near Streets Run Road and Missionary Drive.

However, when police got to the scene, no one was inside the car.

Police say the car is registered to a woman, but when they went to her house, no one was home.

Police are still looking for the driver of the car.
