PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – During Ryan Clark Show, the Steelers safety broke down everything that went wrong in the game against New England.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady played extremely well and at times, he said, and felt that everyone on the Steelers defense had to try to do everything in order to slow them down.

Clark’s frustration and embarrassment is evident when he says, “I’ve never been a part of something that terrible.”

After a game in which both safeties struggled, some people have been saying that Troy Polamalu has lost a step and has been in decline for the past three or four years. However, Clark says he thinks Polamalu is being asked to do more things this year like play linebacker.

In order to allow Polamalu to continue as the play-making wild card that makes the team’s defense so unpredictable, Clark says, “We need to do a better job around him.”

Despite the loss, Clark says he’s is looking forward to the final eight games and thinks the team will be good enough to beat the Bills at Heinz Field next time.
