Ryan Clark Weighs In On Dolphins Controversy, Not A Fan Of GM Jeff Ireland
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers safety Ryan Clark had some interesting things to say about the Miami Dolphins hazing controversy.
If Clark ended up in Miami, as he could have when he was a free agent a few years back, that locker room might have been a different environment than the one that led to the Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin situation, he says.
Clark says he didn't have a good feeling when dealing with Miami general manager Jeff Ireland.
Considering a future with Ireland as his GM, Clark said, "We wouldn't mix, we wouldn't make it."
Clark continued, "The feeling I got leaving his office wasn't a good one."
But Clark says he doesn't have enough information to make judgment about people losing their jobs as a result of the situation in the Dolphins' locker room.
A greater factor in when deciding who will be fired will likely be wins after an off-season of bringing in high-priced free agents, he speculates.
