Bruce Gradkowski Talks "Huge Win" Over Lions

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Bruce Gradkowski Show tackled the recent Steelers victory over Detroit, with a winning score of 37-27.

Even though the steady rain made things miserable for fans in the stands, according to Gradkowski things weren't so bad for the players.

Although the offense performed better than it has all year, the Steelers defense and Styx's Renegade on the big screen got the crowd fired up once again, Gradkowski says.

A 'no-huddle' attack was effective for the Steelers offense because it allowed more players to get more involved and infused more energy which led to more positive plays.

Gradkowski says, "Every quarterback loves the no-huddle."

More reasons why the no-huddle style is so popular are that it enables a spreading out of the opposing defense and allows a quarterback to call plays that he likes.

Still Gradkowski maintains, a no-huddle attack can not succeed without highly skilled players operating it and the talent of Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown was on display during that game.

The no-huddle offense doesn't have to be as fast as a two-minute drill, but changing tempo is always difficult for defenses to anticipate and deal with.
