Suspected Drunk Driver Plows Into Cars In Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (KDKA) -- Todd Twiss, 38, of Morningside was charged with DUI and reckless driving by Pittsburgh Police Tuesday night.

Investigators say that Twiss was driving an SUV Tuesday evening when he plowed into two parked cars and two moving vehicles while driving on South Linden Avenue in the Point Breeze-Squirrel Hill neighborhood.

Nobody was hurt in the accidents, but, two cars, along with Twiss's vehicle had to be towed from the scene because they couldn't be driven.

Liz Kosanovich of Mt. Oliver was visiting her friend, when someone came to their door, and said several cars had been damaged by a car being driven erratically in the 500-block of South Linden.

"I was visiting my friends and we were told there was a car that had hit several cars," she said. "We came out and my car and her car were both damaged a lot."

Kosanovich said she saw Twiss sitting on a curb when she came outside, and he appeared to be dazed.
