Andrew McCutchen Gets Engaged On "Ellen"
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – From National League MVP to engaged, all in just a few short months.
Pittsburgh Pirates centerfielder Andrew McCutchen got down on one knee to propose to longtime girlfriend Maria Hanslovan during the "Ellen" show that aired Wednesday morning.
Cutch asked the talk show host if he could show a video, which included highlights of him playing, and pictures of McCutchen and Hanslovan.
After the video was over Ellen Degeneres motioned for Hanslovan to come down to the stage.
That's when a very nervous McCutchen got down on one knee and said he'd always imagined himself proposing to her "so the whole world could hear how much I love you."
Hanslovan of course said "yes."
The show was taped in Burbank, California.
