Police Investigate Mt. Lebanon Apartment Building Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Mt. Lebanon police are investigating a shooting at a Mt. Lebanon apartment building.

Police say 29-year-old Jason Collins was shot in the abdomen, and taken to the hospital following the shooting.

It happened at 1425 McFarland Road.

Police say there was a confrontation between Collins, and several other men he let into his apartment.

Officers say they tried to steal drugs from Collins, and that's when the shooting happened.

Collins was taken to Mercy Hospital where he underwent surgery, and is listed in stable condition.

Police say the other men fled the scene prior to police getting there.
