Police Identify Edgewood Bank Robbery Suspect

EDGEWOOD (KDKA) – Police have identified a man wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery over the weekend.

According to police, the incident happened on Dec. 14 at the First Commonwealth Bank in the 1100-block of South Braddock Avenue shortly before 10 a.m.

On Sunday, an arrest warrant was obtained for 53-year-old Ricardo Nevel.

Nevel was initially described as having a medium build, facial hair with gray in the beard and braids in his hair.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt with a black tossle cap.
