Annual Free Care Fund Benefit Raises Record Amount

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- If you donated to the Free Care Fund Thursday night, you were part of history.

You helped us raise a record amount for Children's Hospital.

The final total at the end of the annual benefit show on KDKA: $2,210,701.

It's the first time we've ever topped $2 million; and in our 60th year, it brings our total contribution to $60 million.

Great thanks to all of you who pitched in, and thanks to everyone who volunteered to make the show a success.
