WASHINGTON COUNTY (KDKA) – McDonald Borough police have a warning for anyone using the Panhandle walking trail, be on the lookout for a man following you.

Several people have reported to police that there is a man lurking on the trail, and he's staring at women. In one case, police say he lunged at a person.

"We received information that there was an individual stalking female victims," police say.

More officers are now canvassing the trail, some on ATVS.

"This individual was seen gazing at young females on the trail, in an odd manor," police say.

The suspect was seen between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Police say walk or bike with other people if you're going to use the trail, and always carry a charged cell phone.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white man, with a white beard.
