UNIONTOWN (KDKA) — A man walked into a Fayette County house unannounced and uninvited early Thursday morning.

However, the intruder ended up getting more than he bargained for.
Kameshia Ford hit 45-year-old David Sims over the head with a hair straighter after he walked into the home at 3 a.m. and confronted her and her boyfriend, armed with a kitchen knife.

Sims faces multiple charges and is jailed on $50,000 bond.
Lt. Thomas Kolencik, of Uniontown City Police, says Ford will not be charged because she was defending herself and her family.
