2-4 Inches Of Snow Expected Overnight
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – This may sound like a broken record at this point, but more snow is on the way for much of the region.
According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, the latest round of winter weather will arrive tonight.
Snow will arrive during the evening hours. At times it will be mixed with freezing rain and sleet before changing over to all snow overnight.
Bowman expects 2-4 inches of snow by Tuesday morning.
KDKA Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla says Monday night's snow will come in two waves, between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. and then again between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Today's high will be about 33 degrees under increasing cloudiness ahead of the storm. Tonight's low will be 28 degrees.
Drivers should watch for slippery road conditions tonight and tomorrow morning, as many municipalities are running very low on salt.
Tomorrow, we lose the snow in the morning and there may be a few breaks of afternoon sun with a high of 41 degrees.
