Suspect Arrested In Fatal Homewood Bar Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal Homewood bar shooting over the weekend.

Police say 27-year-old Cory Clark of Penn Hills is charged in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Vincent Holt and the wounding of four others at the Rendezvous Phase III Bar in Homewood.

Police reviewed video surveillance footage from the scene, but are still looking for witnesses to come forward.

"This is another sad day in the community," said City Councilman Ricky Burgess after the shooting. "We pray for the victim, and the other people who were shot and their families, and we actually pray for the person who did the shooting."

This shooting adds to the list of investigations that Pittsburgh Police are looking into in the last couple of weeks.

On, Feb. 12, police were called to Kelly Street in Homewood, where almost two dozen shots were fired.

On Feb. 21, there was another shootout on Hamilton Avenue in Homewood outside a bar.

Clark is charged on multiple counts, including criminal homicide, aggravated assault and criminal attempted homicide.
