Pittsburgh Defense Attorney With 'Street Knowledge' Getting National Attention With New Ad

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Pittsburgh lawyer is getting national attention with a unique and completely honest advertisement for his services.

Daniel Muessig released the ad on YouTube, and it's already been viewed more than 75,000 times.

The video features various crimes and after each one, the criminals say "Thanks Dan."

Attorney Dan Muessig has a variety of one-liners in the video as well.

"I'm the Pittsburgh criminal defense attorney Pittsburgh criminals hire when they commit crimes."

"I may have a law degree, but I think like a criminal. Street knowledge."

"Any criminal defense attorney who promises you a result is most likely a liar or a scumbag."

"I pick up the phone, I answer calls, I return letters, and I make jail visits. Because I'll probably be there, visiting my friends anyway."

KDKA reached out to Muessig about his commercial.

He says he made the commercial to connect with clients in an honest way that conveyed both humor and the realities of his profession.

Muessig also talked to NewsRadio 1020 KDKA's Bill Rehkopf about the commercial.

Muessig also apparently dabbles in rapping, and has even made several videos on that as well.

He says he's actually even leaving soon to go tour in Japan.

Muessig said, "I want Pittsburgh to know that I love my job, and that just because I have fun with it doesn't mean I don't take it deadly serious."
