Car Crashes Into Penn Hills Home Overnight
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Penn Hills family awoke to a frightening scene early Saturday morning.
The driver of a pickup truck crashed into their house on Universal Road around 3:30 a.m.
The homeowner says she was sleeping in the far end of the house. Her son was in the room where the vehicle hit. Both were knocked out of bed, but not hurt.
According to the homeowner, the driver hit the foundation of the house, but did not actually go inside the home.
No word if the driver was hurt or what caused the accident.
