Report: Steelers Visit With Another Free Agent Running Back

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With free agent running back Maurice Jones-Drew leaving his Steelers visit without a contract, the Steelers have turned their attention to another potential candidate: to back-up starter Le'Veon Bell.

According to Marc Sessler of NFL.com, the Steelers will be visiting with former New England Patriot running back LaGarrette Blount.

The controversial back punched his ticket this off-season with an impressive playoff performance against the Colts in which he hit paydirt four times while rushing for 166 yards on 24 carries.

The 27-year-old running back rushed for 772 yards last year on 153 attempts and 7 touchdowns after coming to the Patriots from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
