Police Seek Shooter After Man Shot 3 Times In Duquesne

DUQUESNE (KDKA) – Police were on the scene in Duquesne overnight, where a man was shot and rushed to the hospital.

The victim has not been identified, but is currently undergoing treatment at UPMC Mercy.

Authorities say when the found the man, he was sitting inside his SUV, which was riddled with bullets.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. at South 2nd and Grant streets, just around the corner from the police department.

Once on scene, police realized the victim was actually able to drive himself a little ways to North 3rd and Hamilton streets.

He had been shot three times in the left side of his body, in the chest, leg and buttocks.

Police say the car had nine bullet holes in it.

They are looking for a silver Lincoln navigator they believe the shooter was driving.

Duquesne police today reviewed surveillance video at a nearby bank by where the shooting took place.

County police are investigating.
