MURRYSVILLE (KDKA) — There are new developments about when students will return to Franklin Regional High School.

According to the school district’s website, classes will resume on Wednesday, April 16.

Officials say the decision was made during a meeting Saturday with a team of students, teachers, administrators and counselors.

Teachers will return on Monday, and then students and their families will be given the opportunity to return together on Tuesday if they’d like, school officials say on the website.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the website, student ambassadors will be on hand for emotional support.

Also, counseling services will continue to be available throughout the week.
