Flurries To Taper Off, Warmer Temps Around The Corner

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Tuesday wasn't just filled with April showers, but April flurries.

In the city and areas to the west should be done seeing flurries.

Some areas east of Pittsburgh will continue to get flurries throughout the evening, but shouldn't see any accumulation.

"There still are flurries and flakes flying across our eastern counties now," said KDKA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla.

Temperatures will continue to drop Tuesday night, dipping as low as 23 degrees.

But good news, Wednesday should bring sunny skies and higher temperatures – getting as high as the 50s.

The weather will continue to get warmer in the following days climbing into the 60s.
