Shelly Anderson Gives Outlook On Game 3

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) – Shelly Anderson of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette joins Tab Douglas and Stacy Kauffman to talk about the Penguins and Blue Jackets series, which is tied at 1-1 as the teams head to Columbus for Game 3.

When asked about Dan Bylsma's lack of answers, Anderson thinks the Penguins will regroup

"They have two days here and they'll go back to the drawing board," Anderson said.

They also discussed Kris Letang and his struggles over the first two games.

"Maybe sitting him for a game would help," she said. "It worked for Olli Maatta."

She did not have any update on Brian Gibbons' injury and believes Bylsma will have more information at practice. Anderson talks about what his loss could mean to the team arguing his absence, "did upset what was a fairly stable situation with the lines."

Tab talks about the turning point in the game where they led 3-1. Anderson pointed out that "you got the feeling that the Penguins were taking control in the series until we got to the second period."

She thinks the Penguins want to go to Columbus and win twice, but the Blue Jackets may have other ideas. She expects a heavy Pittsburgh crowd despite ticket restrictions.
