Thunderstorms Closing In On Western Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A line of thunderstorms is closing in on western Pennsylvania.

According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, scattered showers and thunderstorms will affect the morning commute in the Pittsburgh area.

There will be brief periods of heavy rain, small hail and some lightning through late morning or mid-day.

Watch for ponding of water on the roads in some areas, this morning.

Otherwise, there will be variable clouds this afternoon and a high of 76.
