PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pitt basketball player Lamar Patterson was picked up by the Atlanta Hawks in Thursday’s NBA Draft.

Patterson, who plays forward, was the No. 48 pick.

He was first selected by the Milwaukee Bucks, but traded seconds later to the Hawks.

Patterson follows former Pitt basketball player Steven Adams, who was the No. 12 draft pick last year.

Adams was picked by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
