PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio1020 KDKA) – Stoney Richards has connections that reach far and wide, luckily for us he brings them to us on his Live From The Center Show heard Saturday nights on KDKA.

Long time Detroit radio personality, Art Vuolo joined Stoney on his program to talk about the history of radio and the changes he has seen through out his career. Take a stroll down memory land with Art and Stoney as they remember radio legends like Casey Kasem, discuss their love of radio and the changes they have survived.

“It used to be remember which shift it was on radio where we used to break people in,” Vuolo asked, “Nights and overnights, because you couldn’t do too much damage at 3 o’clock in the morning, and that’s where you honed your craft. Now find me a radio station where somebody is live between midnight and 6 AM or just find me one that is live 7 to midnight anymore.”

They took questions from callers that were eager to hear the tales Art had to tell from how he met Stoney to what keeps him so motivated and loving the field of radio.
